For a larger gift of $2,500, we can provide approximately 350 home-delivered meals or fund up to 400 meals at a congregate senior center, where the per-meal cost is lower. At the $5,000 level, you will be helping to provide over 700 meals, directly supporting our most vulnerable community members during their times of need.

Organizations that receive funding through Coastal Wheels must meet federal and state standards as Area Agencies on Aging-contracted providers. We work with Meals on Wheels America network members and programs that adhere to the Older Americans Act Title III-C nutrition standards. These criteria ensure that the nonprofit partners we support are legitimate, have no significant waiting lists, and can efficiently deliver services to those who need them most.
How proceeds flow
After deducting towing and processing costs, approximately 70-80% of the gross proceeds from your vehicle donation will be directed to our partner programs. The funds will then be allocated based on a program-ratio model, ensuring that the maximum amount is utilized effectively to support senior nutrition initiatives.
